Our itinerary is below. It gets rougher and rougher further out into our trip. We’d love to meet up with folks that can venture off and join us on an adventure somewhere. Let us know!

We had three basic guidelines in selecting our destinations:

1. We wanted to see areas that were hard to get to from the Northeast; locations that a typical two-week vacation wouldn’t do justice.

2. We tried to focus on areas that we wanted to see while we were relatively young and active. Places we could hike, camp, learn to surf, etc.

3. We chose places that were completely new to us.



April 6 – May 13: Argentina (Buenos Aires as a home base + Uruguay and Patagonia)

May 14 – May 21: Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro

May 22 – June 24: South Africa

June 25 – June 30th: Victoria Falls

July 1 – July 14: Namibia

July 15 – August 24:Tanzania (Volunteer, Zanzibar and Great Migration)

August 25 – September 1: Rwanda & Uganda

September 2 – 14: Berlin, Munich, Prague (Meeting Mom & Dad)

September 15 – 28: Croatia

September 29 – November 9th: Nepal (3 weeks volunteering, 3 weeks trekking)

November 10 – December 14: Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka

December 15 – December 27: India

December 28 – February 10:  Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines

February 11 – April 6: New Zealand
